This year, our clients, staff/contractors, prospectives and suppliers didn't get Christmas gifts.
Instead of Christmas cards - which may have ended up in the recycling bins, or chocolates - which may have added to the calorie overload this festive season, we rerouted our Christmas gifting to bring joy to those less fortunate.
Check out the infographic below for the low-down on this small activity.
When we first started, I thought this good deed would benefit our local community and it was the right thing to do; who wouldn't, right?
Well, it goes beyond this. After internalising the effect of delivering the boxes with pantry food, warm clothing and gifts to the local Food Bank, I realised that the whole process delivered much more than the food, comfort and happiness those products would bring to the families.
The sense of contentment and satisfaction from freely and unselfishly giving was certainly the most rewarding part of this.
Merry Christmas and a prosperously healthy 2017!
